My Story

I'm Dania, an architect and artist by training, with a lifelong passion for building and creating things with my hands. I'm also a third-generation Palestinian refugee. I grew up longing for the homes, land, and the entire life my grandparents were torn from in the Nakba, and I've carried my heritage with me ever since, keeping it alive in how I live, how I treat people, and the choices I make every day. My faith as a Muslim, my love for this earth, and the wisdom passed down through generations of my family are the ground I stand on. They're also where Everydatallow began.

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to what's natural and wary of manufactured claims. My family's traditions go back thousands of years to simple, natural remedies, my great aunts used to rub pure Palestinian olive oil into their skin before heading out to harvest, to protect it from the sun and wind. I spent years searching for something that honest in modern skincare, trying expensive "natural" products that never delivered. Then a friend introduced me to tallow, and I was struck by how calm and nourished my skin felt, something none of those pricey products had ever given me. I began blending it with olive oil, the way my family always turned to the land for answers, and my skin felt better still. I started making jars for family and friends, and they insisted I share it with the world. That's how Everydaytallow was born.

Everything I make comes back to the same foundation. My faith is my compass, it taught me honesty, integrity, and accountability, and I hold myself to those values in every jar I pour. Family is my anchor, my husband, my children, my parents, my siblings, and everyone I hold close, and I see my customers the same way. We all have someone we want to protect and keep well. When you care for yourself, that care becomes an endless well of devotion for the people you love. Carrying the weight of generational displacement has only deepened my wish to meet others with the kindness my ancestors were so often denied. That's the spirit I pour into every jar, made slowly, by hand, with love.
