Long before ingredient lists and lab produced products, people used animal fat on their skin.
I render mine from 100% suet, the firm fat from around the kidneys, which makes a cleaner, more stable tallow than fat from anywhere else on the cow.
A lot of the fatty acids in it, like oleic and palmitic, are ones your skin makes too. They're not identical, but certainly shared.
Nothing synthetic. Just the oldest skincare ingredient there is.

No water, so nothing's diluted, and no preservatives are needed to protect it. No synthetic fragrance. No fillers, no "natural" buzzwords hiding a long list of things you can't pronounce.
I spent years trying expensive products that promised "clean" and never delivered on the word. I made these because I wanted something genuinely honest, the kind of simple, real thing my family always trusted.
And tallow is an animal product. I say so, openly, and I explain why I chose it. Purity of ingredient isn't a luxury to me....
