Where It Comes From
Real ingredients, traced to their source
We believe you should know exactly what's in your cream and where it came from. Nothing here is anonymous. Every ingredient is chosen for its quality and its origin — and most are certified organic.
Tallow — North Carolina, USA
The base of every cream. We render our halal-certified tallow by hand, from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle here in North Carolina. Buying locally matters to us — it keeps our foundation close to home and traceable.
Olive oil — Palestine
High-polyphenol extra virgin olive oil, made from handpicked olives grown in ancient Palestinian groves and cold-pressed within hours of harvest. Sourced directly from local farmers, carrying a legacy of generations.
Frankincense — Oman
Royal Hojari frankincense, the prized Boswellia sacra resin from the Dhofar region of Oman — considered among the finest in the world, used for thousands of years.
It's worth knowing this isn't the frankincense most people have met. Much of what's sold under the name is Boswellia serrata, a different species entirely, and most of it reaches you as a distilled essential oil. We use neither. Ours is the raw resin itself, infused slowly into olive oil — so what you smell is the material as it comes from the tree: deeper, warmer, and more grounding than the sharp, bright note of a distilled oil. Unfamiliar at first, perhaps. But it's the real thing.
Myrrh — Somalia (Ancient Sacred)
Organic Commiphora myrrha resin, harvested from the desert trees of Somalia. A companion to frankincense across millennia of history.
Like our frankincense, this is the raw resin, not a distilled oil. Myrrh in its natural form is darker and quieter than most people expect — earthy, faintly bitter, a little smoky, with none of the sweetness that fragrance versions add. It doesn't announce itself. It settles underneath the frankincense and gives the cream its depth.
Jasmine — China & India (Royal Youth)
Organic Jasminum officinale flowers from China, cold-infused slowly into olive oil, and a solvent-free Jasminum sambac extract from India for its soft, honeyed scent.
Black seed — Turkey (Royal Youth)
Organic Nigella sativa oil from Turkey, cold-pressed. Called a remedy for everything except death in Islamic tradition.
Baobab — South Africa (Ancient Sacred)
Organic, cold-pressed, unrefined Adansonia digitata seed oil from the African "Tree of Life" — remarkably stable and rich in vitamins A and E.
Sea buckthorn — China (Golden Glow)
Organic Hippophae rhamnoides oil, one of nature's most vividly colored oils, rich in Omega-7 and carotenoids — the source of Golden Glow's warm hue.
Sandalwood — India (Golden Glow)
East Indian sandalwood (Santalum album), steam-distilled from mature heartwood in India. Total santalol content above 91%, the marker that distinguishes true Santalum album from the immature or adulterated sandalwood common in the market. Prized for its soft, creamy warmth.
